Landscape character and scenic management

Hunter

Envisage has undertaken landscape character and scenic management studies for local government.

The strong natural qualities of the Australian landscape are widely recognised and valued, yet many coastal and hinterland areas in particular are under intense  development pressure. Without adequate management of our scenic and landscape values these values can be eroded or lost.

It is  important to identify what is important and how best to protect and manage valued areas, as well as identify which development types have the greatest potential for negative impact and how best to prevent such impact.
